SEMINOLE – The Gaines County commissioners accepted a letter of resignation from Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Jeff James during a special open meeting Dec. 6. Then, following an executive session, the court unanimously agreed to appoint Bonnie Ericson to complete James’ unfinished term.
BROWNFIELD – Approximately 50 members of Brownfield’s The Spirit of the Plains traveled to Andrews Friday in a show of solidarity and community for local colleagues.
SNYDER – Scurry County commissioners on Tuesday agreed to spend the first portion of its American Rescue Plan allocation, committing $23,000 to a broadband fiber inventory that will be completed in conjunction with the city’s inventory on Dec. 16.
