May 25 is the deadline for purchasing the 2023 Lamesa Middle School yearbook. Only yearbooks that are paid for in full before the deadline will be ordered.

Karson Schmidt of Lamesa is one of four high school seniors from Texas Farm Bureau District 6 to be awarded scholarships by the state’s largest agriculture organization.
Lamesa school officials are hosting a retirement party for two South Elementary School educators starting at 4 p.m. May 17 in the Lamesa High School loft.
O’Donnell High School drama students didn’t win the championship at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) One-Act Play state contest last week.
If history repeats itself, then look for the Golden Tornadoes’ softball squad to make another successful step in the Class 3A state playoffs this week.
The annual Golden Tornado sports banquet is set for 6 p.m. next Tuesday at the Lamesa High School Cafeteria.
