SEMINOLE – There were multiple reports of structural damages affecting local residents caused by a severe thunderstorm Tuesday evening, May 2.According to Gaines County Emergency Management Director Robert Barrett, there were a total of .55 inches of rain and a large amount of pea-sized hail.Strong and high winds, mixed with hail, caused broken windows, fences and doors for Gaines County residents.Locals are once again reminded and encouraged to join the Code Red Program, in order to be notified about future severe weather conditions affecting the community.– From the Seminole SentinelBISD becomes one of six ‘Learning Labs’ in the stateBROWNFIELD –
