Karson Schmidt of Lamesa is one of four high school seniors from Texas Farm Bureau District 6 to be awarded scholarships by the state’s largest agriculture organization.The son of Brent and Cheryl Schmidt, Karson has been home-schooled through the Schmidt Christian Academy.
