Lamesa fi refi ghters opened an exterior wall to get access the source of a fi re Sunday evening at a residence in the 700 block of N. Dallas Ave. Damage to the residence reportedly was very minor.
Census questionnaire assistance to be offered

The U.S. Census Bureau, in partnership with the Lamesa Chamber of Commerce, will offer assistance with the 2020 Census questionnaire assistance on Sept. 9, 10 and 11 on the lawn at the Dawson County Courthouse in Lamesa.
