The site of an increasing number of traffic accidents in recent months, the intersection of State Hwy. 349 and FM 829 just north of Patricia has seen two more serious crashes in less than a week. This car was left upturned following a collision about 6:30 Tuesday morning that also reportedly involved an 18-wheeler and a pickup. At least one person was taken by ambulance to Medical Arts Hospital following that accident. The intersection was also the scene of a collision about 7 p.m. Saturday involving a motorcycle and an 18-wheeler. The man who was riding the motorcycle was airlifted directly from the scene to a Lubbock medical facility. LPR photo
