After hours of previous discussion in recent work sessions and other meetings, Lamesa City Council members needed little time to approve the city’s 2021-2022 budget ordinance on second reading Tuesday evening. The budget was approved on a 5-0 vote – with council members Dore Rodriguez and Gloria Rodriguez absent – during a meeting which lasted less than 10 minutes.
