Volunteers raised the funds through an Aug. 18 sale of pulled pork sandwiches, complete with chips, a drink and cookies, for $10 per meal. The funds will be used by the senior citizens center for its Meals on Wheels program and other expenses.

It couldn’t have been said better when a county staff member uttered the words, “Won and Done,” when it came time for Dawson County commissioners Tuesday to finish the final chapter of officially adopting the 2023-2024 budget and tax rate.
Missouri Petroleum Product Company, headquartered out of St. Louis, Missouri, will be performing this year’s seal coat program for the City of Lamesa starting Thursday, Sept. 14.
