A mother and two children are without shelter after an early morning electrical fire damaged their home.The fire ignited around 5:30 a.m., Friday at 1611 Seminole Road.“It was a mother, son and a granddaughter live there: an adult and two children,” said Lamesa Fire Department Chief Larry Duyck. “They’re all okay.”The fire at the wood frame home started from an overload on some circuits, Duyck said.“It had actually tripped before and it just overheated,” Duyck said.The fire came from an electrical power strip which ignited on the floor of the three bedroom house.“The smoke damage is throughout the whole house.
