Dawson County Senior Citizens Center Director Tammy Vidal accepts a $2,087 check from Focused Care at Lamesa Executive Director of Operations Tracy Penn (right) and Kelly A. Volunteers raised the funds through an Aug. 18 sale of pulled pork sandwiches, complete with chips, a drink and cookies, for $10 per meal. The funds will be used by the senior citizens center for its Meals on Wheels program and other expenses.
