DPS issues reminders for drivers to be safe now that school is in session

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reminds drivers to use extra caution in-and-around school zones and neighborhoods with the new school year underway. This includes knowing state laws about driving near stopped school buses and not using cell phones when you’re behind the wheel.

Lamesa High School students and Golden Tor fans discovered the names of the 2023 homecoming king and queen Friday night during half-time activities at Tor Stadium.
