A strong first day helped lead a couple of local brothers to the championship in this past weekend’s annual Wayne Hogg Memorial Golf Tournament at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course.
The Golden Tornadoes slipped on their pads for the first time this past Saturday. It was the first day which th University Interscholastic League allowed high school football players across the state to start contact drills.
