Seminole Art Walk returns to city’s downtown area Saturday

SEMINOLE – Resident Morgan Guffy hosted the first Seminole Art Walk by herself last summer. Later in 2020, however, she joined forces with merchant Christie Chappell to create Mo and Mule Productions. With the help of area artists, vendors and sponsors, the pair will present the Second Annual Seminole Art Walk in the downtown area from 4-9 p.m. this Saturday.

Chamber hosts banquet amidst lowering COVID-19 numbers

SEMINOLE – Due to spiking COVID-19 numbers during the latter months of 2020, the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Shelby Concotelli, postponed their annual banquet planned for November 2020. Now with a low number of active, positive cases, the board has rescheduled the membership banquet this Wednesday in the Gaines County Civic Building from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m.
