An electrical power outage Tuesday morning resulted in canceled high school classes, Medical Arts Clinic and 1,497 electrical customers temporarily left in the dark, and state-mandated exams postponed at both North Elementary and Middle School. “We canceled school today for LHS only,” Lamesa High School Principal Jerry Jerabek said Tuesday. “The other schools had classes.” The outage didn’t affect other campuses, said Lamesa school superintendent Jim Knight.
