After finishing their 2024 high school baseball season back in the Class 3A state baseball playoffs, the Golden Tornadoes are well represented on the all-District 3-3A Baseball Team Senior Ro Vela is District 3-3A’s Pitcher of the Year. Vela was a workhorse on the mound for the Golden Tors pitching in 10 games this past season finishing the season with a 3-2 pitching record and a 3.27 Earned Run Average. Vela struck out 48 batters on the year averaging right at five strikeouts per game.
