A couple of Golden Tornado baseball players took advantage of getting the chance to take a final bat in their high school careers this past Saturday evening at Christensen Stadium.After being the Golden Tornadoes’ battery on this year’s playoff ball club, Lamesa’s Rogelio Vela and Braylon Hood found themselves in those same roles in the Seniors Baseball Game, which is being put on by Lamesa’s Chris Arredondo.Arredondo, a 2001 Lamesa High School graduate, is now the president of the West Texas Umpires’ Chapter.This was the second game of this kind in the past three years at the Tall City.
