Thirteen O’Donnell High School seniors will earn their diplomas in a May 27 graduation ceremony in the school gym.
With voting for several local offices having just recently concluded, balloting in another election is now getting underway.

It’s going to be a very light agenda for Lamesa City Council members Tuesday as they set the schedule for a summer of budget workshops, and the mayor and a newly-elected council member are sworn into office.
The aroma of barbecue cooking will be wafting from the area of North 14th St. and Lubbock Highway on Sunday.
Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court are scheduled this coming week to consider a memorandum of understanding with a new sand mine being established here.
A reception for four longtime employees retiring from the Klondike school system will be held at 2 p.m. this coming Thursday in the Klondike school library. The public is invited.
