Two new assistant principals will join the Lamesa school district’s administrative team this summer.Lamesa school board members on Thursday approved contracts for Eric Coronado to become a new assistant principal at the high school and Miranda Rodriguez-Reyes to take a similar role at North Elementary.Both are coming here from the Lubbock school system, according to Richard Soliz, director of human resources and curriculum/ instruction for the Lamesa school district.“I think we’ve got two good ones,” Soliz told the Press-Reporter.Both are expected to start their duties here sometime this summer.Coronado has taken a non-traditional path in education and school administration, Soliz ...
