School district dedicates court to beloved basketball coach

SEMINOLE - First Baptist Church Pastor Joe Stewart is a proud member of the Seminole High School basketball team that won the state championship in 1979. Not only is Stewart still thankful for that teenage accomplishment, he is even more grateful to have been mentored by his former coach and friend Buck Caffey, the man responsible for leading those “boys” to the infamous championship.
