The Borden County Coyote girls finished their season in the third round of the Class 1A state playoffs as they fell to Whiteface, 40-36, in regional quarterfinal playoff action Tuesday evening at Lubbock Roosevelt.
It wasn’t much of a class reunion for Borden County head boys basketball coach Bubba Edwards as he and the Coyotes went up against his high school alma mater Tuesday night at Lubbock Roosevelt.
A big second half last Saturday in the area round has the Sands Mustangs advancing to the regional quarterfinals in Class 1A girls basketball playoff action.
