County commissioners still undecided on 4-day work week

BROWNFIELD – At the Terry County Commissioners court meeting Monday, on the agenda to be discussed and possibly approved was whether or not the county offices, such as the courthouse and county annex, should go to a four-day work week and to change the funeral time-off policy. However, before the court could consider making changes , they first needed to amend the county employee handbook.

County approves $927,631 for improvements to ACE arena

ANDREWS – An approximate $1 million project involving improvements at the ACE Arena, requested by the Andrews County Junior Livestock Association, was approved Tuesday by county commissioners court.

Seminole school board mulls over new bond proposal

SEMINOLE – In 2007 Seminole citizens passed a $110 million bond for an extensive building program. On Monday, the Seminole Independent School District (SISD) board members discussed the possibility of another bond election with a 13 cent Interest and Sinking (I&S) tax rate.
