Klondike school teachers and various other employees who sign contracts by the end of March to stay with the district for the 2021-2022 school year will be receiving sizable bonuses. During their regular meeting this past Monday the Klondike school board approved signing bonuses of $10,000 for professional employees and $5,000 for paraprofessionals. Superintendent Steve McLaren said employees will get their new contracts for 2021-2022 in March and must sign and return them to the school by the end of March in order to qualify for the signing bonus.
