Actions by various volunteers and donations by numerous local residents have provided a bit of extra warmth to people across the area this past week. They saw a need and responded. All it took was getting the word out in order to provide warm coats, socks, gloves, toboggans and winter blankets to people in need not only in Lamesa but Welch and O’Donnell as well.
