Klondike school board members accepted one resignation and hired two new employees during their regular meeting Monday evening.

Better Sleep Month is observed during the month of May and aims to encourage healthy patterns of sleep and educate on the benefits of sleeping well. According to Amy Valdez, Texas A&M AgriLife Program Specialist, “sleep is just as important as including a well-balanced eating pattern and physical activity into our daily lives. It can have a great impact on our physical and mental health, and a lack of sleep can be detrimental”.
The clock is ticking on getting bills out of the House and to the Texas Senate, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick warned last week in a story in the Austin American-Statesman.
May 25 is the deadline for purchasing the 2023 Lamesa Middle School yearbook. Only yearbooks that are paid for in full before the deadline will be ordered.
