Millions of Texans dealing with water supply issues

Warmer temperatures over the weekend and continuing this week melted most of the snow from the state’s roadways and roofs. But Texans are still dealing with broken pipes and businesses, damaged municipal water systems, and continued power outages in scattered areas, mainly in East and Central Texas.

COOKIES!

It was cookie time at the Dawson County Public Library Tuesday afternoon. Lucy’s Flour Shop baked 300 chocolate chip cookies to go along with the children’s book, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie,” by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond. Water main break leads to boil-water notice for residents

BROWNFIELD - The water main on 1300 E. Tate broke Feb. 17, which caused the city to send a notice to residents regarding the boiling of water before consumption or use such as washing hands, face, brushing teeth, and drinking. This notice is due to the water main break causing the city to drop the pressure for Brownfield.
