Local golfer Wally Garza recorded his fi rst hole-in-one here this past Tuesday at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Garza aced the par-three, 165-yard hole number seven with an eight iron. Witnessing the event were Wesley Diaz, Ron Mann and Serapio Arguijo.
A handful of Lamesa sluggers helped the Texas Renegades win the Fall Mex-Tex tournament held this past weekend at Midland’s Hogan Park.
