The Golden Tors proved again Tuesday evening in front of a big crowd at Joe Spikes Field that they can play ball with one of the best in the state.

Ten Golden Tornado tracksters will be heading to the area track meet on April 15 at Denver City after turning in a solid showing at the District 3-3A Track & Field Championships held this past weekend at Denver City.
Lamesa’s junior high tracksters finished their season on a high note by putting up their most points of the year in the District 3-3A South Zone Championships last week at Brownfield.
Following their strong showing at last week’s District 6-1A Track & Field Championships the O’Donnell Eagles will be well represented at next week’s area track meet.
The Dawson Dragons didn’t come home with as many medals as they would have liked from last Thursday’s District 7-1A Track & Field Meet at Whiteface but they did make their presence known.
Having never led during the first four innings the Golden Tornadoes’ softball squad on Friday at Brownfield found themselves in a spot which they haven’t spent much time in this season.
