Following their strong showing at last week’s District 6-1A Track & Field Championships the O’Donnell Eagles will be well represented at next week’s area track meet. The Eagle boys finished second in the district meet held last Thursday at Crosbyton. O’Donnell’s 145 points was topped only by Crosbyton with 169. “Our goal going in was to win this meet. We fell a little short of doing that but we’re still proud of how hard our guys competed,” OHS Coach Fernando Baeza said. Eagle senior Blaze Garces qualified for area in four events.
