Plans have been made for the upcoming season of Lamesa’s youth basketball league which calls itself the League.Tryouts will be held this coming Saturday at Lamesa High School’s old gym, starting at 9 a.m. for first- and second-grade girls. Tryouts for first- and second-grade boys will begin at 10 a.m. The third- and fourth-grade girls will start at 11 a.m., the third- and fourth-grade boys start at 12 noon, the fifth- and sixth-grade girls at 1 p.m., and fifth- and sixthgrade boys at 2 p.m.The pre-K and kindergarten league does not have tryouts. Their draft will be at 9 a.m.
