High school track wild cards have provided good news again this week for the Klondike Cougars and Sands Mustangs.The top two finishers in each of the events at regional track automatically earn a state meet berth.Wild card berths go to the athletes with the next best times or distances outside of the four region’s bronze medalists.Because of that wild card, Klondike’s 400-meter relay, as well as Sands’ Carlos Plata, will both be running next weekend against 1A’s best in the state’s capital city.Throw in the fact that Mike A.
