Lamesa High School’s girls and boys track teams will get their season started this Friday at Denver City.
The Golden Tors originally were scheduled to open their season last weekend at Brownfield but that meet was called off because the Cub girls were still in the basketball playoffs.
Coach RoseMary McCall is happy to report that she’s got 31 young ladies competing this spring.
“A blessing for us will be our returning veterans along with some very talented freshmen joining our program,” McCall said.
