After finishing the season in the fourth round of the Class 3A softball playoffs for the second year in a row, the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes dominated the all-District 3-3A Softball Team.Junior Laila Vasquez, who put up impressive numbers both as a pitcher and batter, shared MVP honors with Brownfield’s Brianne Franco.Against league opponents, Vasquez hit .480 with five home runs and 17 RBIs.
