The 2019 Golden Tornadoes’ relatively unproven golf squad continues making strides. Coach Jason Froman took three of his young ladies to last weekend’s Fall Regional Golf Preview at Lubbock’s Shadow Hills Golf Course. All three showed vast progress. “A couple of our girls had new personal bests,” Coach Froman said. Junior Laura Ruvalcaba shot a 110 while sophomore Kathlene Hernandez shot a 124. Golden Tor junior Elaine Minjarez shot her second best round at Shadow Hills, finishing at 118.
