Like any other scrimmage performance, the Golden Tornadoes committed their share of young mistakes Thursday evening at Stanton. But enough positives came out of it to give Coach Joseph Hood’s troops something to build on as they continue preparing for the season-opening kickoff now less than a week away. “We made a lot of unforced errors but we had a lot of bright spots, too,” Hood said. “Probably the best part was how all the mistakes that we saw tonight are very fixable.
