After getting beat by Big Spring last weekend, the Golden Tornadoes’ tennis turned things around and beat the Steers on Tuesday evening at Big Spring. Another strong showing from the boys ladder helped Lamesa High School defeat the Steers, 11 matches to nine. The Golden Tornadoes re now 3-1 in team tennis competition this fall. “This was pretty exciting. It just showed our kids what really can happen as long as we just play well and play together as a team,” Lamesa Coach Jose Lucio said.
