The Golden Tornado varsity volleyballers were just a play or two away from making it two straight in the win column here Tuesday evening at Follis Gymnasium. After opening up the match against Odessa Compass by winning two out of their first three sets, the home team lost the next two in a grueling five-set match. Things looked pretty good early for the home team which won the first set, 25-21, and the third set 25-23, after falling to the Lady Cougars, 25-18, in the second set.
