Golden Tornado sophomore Helen Vargas finished the Region I-3A Girls’ Golf Tournament this week at Baird’s Shady Oaks Golf Course with the same kind of determination that got her there. “After playing those last three holes today, Helen made the comment that she’s going to par all three of those holes next year.
