With their district meet now just over a week away, Golden Tornado head cross country coach Rose Mary McCall is encouraged by her runners’ steady progress. The Golden Tors ran last Saturday in the Big Spring Meet at Comanche Park. “This was a challenging course for our runners which really helped us prepare for district,” McCall said. Lamesa’s Adriel Trevino ran a new personal best by finishing that course in 16:51.77 for 54th place.
