After watching his players get over 100 wins a year ago in his first season as the Golden Tornadoes’ head tennis coach, Jose Lucio couldn’t wait to see what his squad could do this past spring in the District 1-4A Tennis Tournament.
But due to COVID 19, Lucio never got that opportunity. COVID 19 stopped play in all spring sports in the middle of March.
With a lot of his top players back from last year, Lucio is even more enthusiastic going into this season, especially after dropping into the Class 3A ranks.
