Lamesa juniors Helen Vargas and Justin Peterson are two of this year’s top returning high school golfers for the Golden Tornadoes and they’ve been playing like it as well.Vargas, a returning regional qualifier from a year ago, shot her career best score of 105 this past Friday at the Snyder Country Club Golf Course.
