For the second year in a row the Golden Tornado girls basketball team is only a game away from possibly reaching the post-season. Lamesa and Denver City are currently tied for District 3-3A’s fourth spot with identical 4-7 league records. The Golden Tornadoes will be at home Friday evening against a Friona squad which is still seeking its first league win.
