Lamesa’s Sallye Cockrell had no idea back when she was a big Oklahoma fan as an eighth grader how the Sooner State would end up being such a big part of her life someday. That’s not only the state where she played her first two years of college volleyball, it is where the 2002 Lamesa High School graduate lives today with her family.
