Local fans continue to get treated to some thrilling high school baseball at the Golden Tornadoes’ Joe Spikes Field.
Tuesday’s game went right down to the wire, just like their past two home games. The score was tied 7-all after seven innings, forcing an extra inning.
Lamesa pulled off their 12th win of this season in the bottom half of the eighth inning. Josh Marquez and Nick Casillas got things going with back-to-back hits. J.P. Rodriguez then delivered a hit which scored Marquez and gave Lamesa an 8-7 win.
