Klondike pushed top ranked Jayton into playing a complete ball game for the first time this fall, but it was a 17-second span midway through the second quarter which ended up marking the Cougars’ demise.The Cougars finished last Friday night’s Division II state semi-final match up against Jayton with one more first down, the Jaybirds scored four of their touchdowns without their offense even being on the field.The Cougars are now finished after falling, 90-58, to the Jaybirds last Friday night at Wolfforth’s Peoples State Bank.
