A slow start forced the Golden Tornadoes’ boys basketball squad into spending the night trying to play catch up against the Snyder Tigers here Tuesday.
The home team found itself down 18-5 at the end of the first quarter. It also was a 13-point margin at the end of the game as the Tigers left town with a 57-44 victory.
“It just took us a while to get out of the gates tonight,” Golden Tor Coach Sam Estes said.
