Klondike’s JV football team kicked off its season in strong fashion last Thursday evening at Paint Rock where the Cougars blanked the Indians, 50-0.“We suited up only eight players for this game: four freshmen, three sophomores and one junior,” Klondike Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid said. “Defensively, we held Paint Rock from even getting one first down.”A balanced scoring attack did the trick for the Cougars as six different players scored on opening night.Klondike’s Slay Bowley scored two of the Cougars’ TDs.
