Kalith Brown takes as much pride in the Dawson school system today as he did in the 1970s when he was a state champion miler and all-state football player for the Dragons. The 1975 Dawson High School graduate has been on the school board at Welch for some 30 years and currently is in his eighth straight year as board president.
