After going 30-8 this season, the Golden Tornado softball squad is well represented on the all-District 3-4A Softball Team released this past week. The Golden Tornadoes captured two of the six superlatives on the squad, with the other four going to league-winning Canyon. Lamesa senior Ariel Hernandez was named the Utility Player of the Year. Freshman Jadeyn Merrill is 3-4A’s Newcomer of the Year.
