A quick start here Friday evening at Joe Spikes Field turned out being all that the Golden Tornadoes’ softball team needed to shut out the Class 2A top 20 Forsan Buffaloes, 12-0. Now 5-2, the Golden Tors were up 10-0 before these Buffaloes knew what hit them. The home team scored four runs in the bottom half of the first and three more in both the second and third innings.
