Sands’ basketball girls were basically one quarter away from picking up their eighth win of this season last Friday night at Ackerly before falling to the Class 4A Sweetwater Mustangs, 41-38.Now 7-8, the Mustang girls were up 31-24 at the end of the third quarter.
